Lyster Lutheran Church is an ELCA congregation in rural Nelson, Wisconsin. We have an active youth group, women’s choir, Sunday School, women’s groups, and two dart ball teams.

Can your archives give me a “death date” for my father who is buried in Upper Lyster – it would be about August 8, 2007. The service was at Lyster prior to burial. Hugh Nellans

Hi Patricia — we would probably just have the year of his death. You could contact the county in which he passed away, and they could look on the death certificate.

We will have a new history book available on Sunday, September 11. We have no memorabilia left from previous anniversaries, other than a cookbook from 2007 and Pastor Mike’s poetry book. Thank you for your interest.
