In 1935, ordered 150 pounds of lutefisk for the dinner at 8 cents a pound. Possibly this was the first dinner. Dinner and lunch on Memorial Day netted $48.11. The July 4th dinner profit was $50.86. Income from the bazaar was $81.55.

In 1936, the lutefisk dinner made $74.33. One pound of coffee was 18 cents, butter 32 cents.

Annual meeting on December 9, 1937, voted to conduct meetings in English. Also, at the same meeting voted to put electricity in the church and parsonage and pay pastor every month instead of every three months.

In 1938, voted to meet every three weeks and have meetings in part English and part Norwegian.

“Ladies Aid Society” was held in homes starting in 1938.

Cradle Roll Program started in 1939.

Plumbing was put in the parsonage in 1939.

Ladies Aid checking balance at the end of 1939 was $4.90 with some bills not paid.

First meeting of the Ladies Aid was in held in 1940 and decided to have Bible Study at Aid.

New dishes were purchased for the Parish Hall in 1941. Each member asked to furnish a dish towel with their name embroidered on it.

At the 75th Anniversary charged 25 cents for adults and 15 cents for youth for dinner.

In 1941, the first printed financial report was made for the annual meeting.

In 1942, voted to have one-third Norwegian services and two-thirds English services.

New hymnal racks were put in the pews.

In 1944, voted to have Norwegian services during Sunday School hour with English services to follow Sunday School hour.

Small rooms in front of church added in 1946 and painted outside.

In 1947, voted to have all English services.

In 1951, voted to have services at 10:30. Library Fund started in 1951.

Motion made to change the bylaws to state we have a ten-day notice of meetings instead of three consecutive Sundays. Accepted in 1952. Life membership program was started in 1952.

In 1952, the price of a lutefisk ticket was $1.25.

In 1953, voted to contribute money to buy Mondovi Clinic Hospital as Old Folks Home with other churches.

In 1954, telephone service was accepted for Parish Hall.

In 1956, voted to put a basement under the Parish Hall.

In 1957, the offering envelope system was adopted and also to have the annual meeting in January instead of December.

Bible Camp students received $5.00 from the Ladies Aid in 1958.

Ladies Aid gave $500.00 on the debt on Parish Hall basement. Still owe $7050.00 in 1959.

There were no lutefisk dinners in 1959 and 1962.

In 1960, the “Scope” replaced the “Messenger.”

In 1961, the Ladies Aid decided to discontinue the July 4th lunch. Church Valley Circle made the baptism towels.

In 1963, the parish purchased the Selmer Hillestad house. Trustees can spend $150.00 for repairs without a meeting. Bibles given to third graders for the first time.

New organ for church in 1971 for $1450.00.

Two acres north of church obtained in 1972 from Charles Larson.

In 1973, determined that trustees and deacons be limited to two consecutive terms.

Cemetery Plotting Committee consisted of Roy Synstad, Gladys Heltne, Charles Larson.

Take home lunches after Ladies Aid meetings were discontinued.
